A Research School Integral Design of Structures  is a joint institute for PhD.-candidates of the three universities in The Netherlands, which offer scientific education in the domain of design (including  design informatics), Structures (including (Geo)Mechanics, Materials Science, Maintenance) and Processes. These universities of technology are located in Delft, Eindhoven and Twente. The name of the research school in the Dutch language is Onderzoekschool Bouw.
In Delft University of Technology several sections of the faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences and faculty of Architecture participate; so does a capacity group of the faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning in Eindhoven University of Technology and the University of Twente.

At this moment about 150 PhD. Projects (anno 2009) are busy carried out.
